BIEAF2026
Registration Greeting
Dear Artists from Around the World,
It is a profound honor to announce the 23rd Busan International Environment Art Festival,BIEAF2026. This year, we gather under the theme, "From Sun To Boy." The Sun representsthe genesis of the universe and the dawn of all creation. The Boy symbolizes the "ArtisticHuman"—a spirit in pursuit of expressing the very essence of nature.
In our official poster, the Sun is personified as a creative feminine archetype that enrichesthe world, while the Boy represents the artist, stepping into a new realm of creativity as hereceives light from the Sun Goddess.
BIEAF as a Collective Masterpiece
BIEAF is, in itself, a monumental masterpiece collectively crafted by artists. Our mission liesin empowering and celebrating artistic endeavors where the artist remains the centralprotagonist. We dream of a world where artists honor the intrinsic value of their craft andcollaborate to build a better future.
This is why BIEAF is the future. We seek to listen, communicate, and unite through storiesthat will resonate as history for generations to come, rather than merely asserting thevoices of our own time.
BIEAF as an Enduring Art Movement
Thus, BIEAF is not a fleeting event; it is an enduring art movement. It is a sustainableglobal initiative that embraces diverse worlds and exchanges emotions through theprofound language of expression. Whether an artist manifests their originality with intensepassion or gentle grace, the underlying humanity, the nobility of nature, and the love forone's neighbor remain steadfast.
BIEAF is the "Open Window" that embraces, preserves, and communicates all these values.
A Call to Action
BIEAF2026 stands in solidarity with artists across the globe. Let us join hands and moveforward toward a better world. Let us bequeath to future generations a beautiful Earthwhere art breathes and dances.
