BUI ANH PHONG was born in 1976 in Phu Tho, Vietnam — a land known for itslacquer trees. —In 2000, he graduated with honors in Monumental Design from the HanoiUniversity of Industrial Fine Arts. That same year, he participated in the ThangLong - Hanoi 1000th Anniversary Festival exhibition. He then emigrated toSaigon. —From 2002 to 2006, he was the creative director for TN Intertra Vietnam. —From 2007 to 2013, Phong worked in the digital creative field alongsidedeveloping his personal artistic skills. —In 2008, he moved to Bologna, Italy, to participate in the Bologna Children'sBook Fair and explore the international creative market. That same year, uponreturning to Vietnam, Bui Anh Phong participated in the group exhibition"Open Your Eyes" at Sàn Art Saigon. —Since 2012, he has continuously initiated community art activities forcreative startups and around his living and creative space. —In 2013, he held his first solo exhibition at Mai Gallery titled “Precarious”. —Since 2014, he has been the creative design director, creating simulatedspaces at international preschools. —In 2022, he held his second solo exhibition titled “River” at Stop and Go ArtSpace in Da Lat. "For me, the theme "From Sun to Boy" is not merely a metaphor for heritage,but a profound reflection on the responsibility of the creator. The "Sun"represents the raw, primal source of inspiration and the absolute truth ofexistence, while the "Boy"—the free creator—is the prism through which thislight is refracted, structured, and given meaning.
My artistic journey, shaped by both the intensity of the business world and thecontemplative depth of abstract painting, has taught me that true freedom isnot the absence of boundaries, but the discipline to channel pure energy intoa coherent vision. In my work, I aim to be the conduit that bridges the gapbetween the universal warmth of the Sun and the restless curiosity of the Boy.I do not simply paint; I architect emotions. By passing this hopeful energy ontothe canvas, I invite the viewer—the "Boy" within us all—to perceive art as arigorous yet liberated search for peace. Ultimately, my contribution to thistheme is a testament to the belief that even after the most challenging lifetransitions, the light of creation remains our most resilient and enduringlegacy."

"In this piece from the A.C.I.D series, the vibrant, glowing orb—reminiscent ofa setting or rising sun—serves as the primary source of life and emotionalgravity. For me, this "Sun" embodies the protective, radiant energy that we, asparents and creators, strive to pass on to the next generation. The centralfigure, emerging with innocence and fragility, represents the "Boy"—thefuture creator who must navigate the complexities of a changing world.The tension between the deep, dark voids and the luminescent foregroundreflects the passage of love and hope from the source to the seeker. Bylayering oil and acrylic, I aimed to capture the organic, evolving nature ofhuman existence, where the "Sun" of our past experiences warms the "Boy" ofour future. The composition is particularly notable for its rejection of traditional Westernlinear perspective in favor of the "Không gian Tẩu mã" (moving perspective)technique. This mezzotint print presents a “silent fur sphere” that refuses to reveal a clearbody or species. The image suggests an animal presence reduced to texture,like a trace left behind when living beings disappear from our landscapes. Thesoft halo of light recalls the warmth of the sun, while the surrounding darknessevokes habitats pushed into the shadows by human expansion. Rather thandepicting a specific creature, the work reflects on how many animals becomeanonymous remnants in the age of climate crisis, urban growth andconsumption. It invites us to listen to the quiet, almost invisible bodies thatshare the planet with future children, and to question what kind of ecologicalmemory we are passing from the sun to the next generation.

Description of the work : Life is a journey from womb to tomb. During this journey Man is in constantsearch of the Infinite with his finite possibilities. The material aspects of lifelikedesire, ambition, yearning for name and fame pull him constantly down to theearth. Yet the Search continues. Search for what? …It is the Search for what can at least partly be attained, being detached fromall thematerial aspects. That is why human being figures in most of my paintings. Onone hand man tries to maintain his existence by sticking to material aspects oflife.On the other hand he ignores his mere physical existence only to attainsomethingbeyond his material longings. He tries to tear asunder the hard realities of life.Hebegins to dream --- the kind of Dream that tries to touch the Infinite. Thecolour ofman’s Dream is blue. Dream tries to get to the Sky, which is Infinite, Vast andimmense. That which is infinite and immense expresses itself in blue. So thecolour Blue and the Infinite get merged into one cosmic hue --- that is Blue.The Moon in some of my paintings is suggestive of the personification ofDream,Hope etc. And the triangular shape expresses the Heart’s ascension. Hereinlies theco-existence Dream and heart Reality of life, simply because human heart istheaccouchement of Dream, but Dream feels drawn towards the Infinite againsttheHeart’s gravitation.

PRAMOD NEELAKANDAN Born in 1976 in Kozhencherry, a village in southern Kerala, PramodNeelakandan’s artistic practice has evolved through a continuous dialoguebetween tradition and contemporaneity. After completing his formaleducation, he moved to Delhi, where his early professional experience in aninterior design studio—primarily creating large-scale wall murals—sharpenedhis sensitivity to space, surface, and scale. Despite technical mastery, Pramod soon recognised the limitations of purelycommissioned work, sensing an absence of emotional authenticity. Thisrealisation led him towards a deeper engagement with artistic language,prompting him to study Kerala Traditional Mural Painting. While grounded inthe discipline and visual grammar of this classical form, his practice graduallymoved away from its mythological framework toward themes rooted inpresent-day human experience. Pramod’s work occupies a space between the figurative and thepsychological. Through the deliberate use of intense, often confrontationalcolour and the synthesis of human forms with elements of nature, hispaintings evoke inner states rather than literal narratives. The figures thatemerge on his canvas resist stillness; they function as sites of tension,reflection, and transformation. His participation in the India Art Fair (2022) marked a significant moment in hisevolving practice. Central to Pramod’s artistic philosophy is the belief that apainting must extend beyond visual representation—it must activate thought,memory, and emotional resonance within the viewer. This convictioncontinues to drive constant shifts in his stylistic and conceptual approach.Currently working in a modern figurative idiom, Pramod Neelakandan’spaintings are distinguished by their proportional yet dynamic colourrelationships and thematic openness. From his studio in Kerala, he continuesto develop new bodies of work, positioning painting not as a static object, butas an ongoing inquiry into human presence, perception, and contemporaryrelevance.
Description of the work : Mother Tigress is a celebration of maternal love, protection, and the quietstrength that sustains life in the wilderness. At the heart of the painting, thetigress gently embraces her playful cub while an older sibling watches overthem, creating a tender moment of family and belonging amid the denseforest. The surrounding jungle is alive with hidden creatures, lush foliage, andblooming flowers, suggesting that every living being shares an invisible bondwithin nature. The deer, elephants, and birds appear not as predators andprey, but as silent witnesses to the sacred rhythm of life. In this imaginedworld, coexistence replaces conflict, and compassion becomes the true law ofthe forest. Rendered in my Mystical Folk style, the painting draws inspiration from Indianfolk traditions while reimagining the forest as a symbolic realm where everyleaf, animal, and color carries emotional meaning. Mother Tigress is ultimatelya tribute to motherhood—the universal force that nurtures, protects, andgives courage to face the unknown, reminding us that love is nature's greateststrength.

Prof. Rajesh Yadav is a distinguished contemporary artist, muralist, and arteducator based in Udaipur. He is the founder of The Art Pivot and the WorldArt Migration Program in India, initiatives dedicated to fostering global artisticdialogue and cultural exchange.He received his formal art education from the Rajasthan School of Art underUniversity of Rajasthan. Over the years, his work has been showcased innumerous national and international exhibitions across countries includingIndia, Italy, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, the U.K., China, and Indonesia. Hisartworks have been displayed in prominent galleries, museums, hotels, andgovernment institutions worldwide.An inspiring mentor, Prof. Yadav has organized and led several art camps,workshops, and international exchange programs, supporting both emergingand established artists. His contributions to the art world have beenrecognized with multiple honors, including the Global Achievement Awards(2021–22), the Peace Award from South Korean museums, and theInternational Bronze Medal from the AAA Asian Art Association.Currently, he serves as Professor of Visual Art and Director at the PacificCollege of Fine Arts, under Pacific University. For me, Udaipur is not justmy hometown; it is my greatest inspiration. Every street, every lake, and everyhistoric structure tells a story that connects the past with the present. This photograph captures one of the most beautiful faces of my city. The calmwater reflects the changing colours of the sky, while the historic bridgegracefully connects two shores, symbolising the bond between Udaipur's richheritage and its vibrant modern life. watchThis painting is based on Oont Kadal Oont Bridge Kashmir, reimagined as apsychological landscape rather than a literal depiction. The water below acts as memoryfragmented and unstable while automatist gestures allow the work to evolveintuitively, mirroring lived uncertainty. Roya Delkhosh is an Iranian visual artist, painter, and art educator based inNeyshabur, Iran. Her artistic practice is deeply connected to nature, innerexperience, and the poetic relationship between human beings and the worldaround them. Working mainly with acrylic and watercolor, she often paints directly in nature,responding to light, atmosphere, color, and the changing presence oflandscapes. I am Rayees Mir, a multidisciplinary artist from Kashmir, India, with a Bachelorof Fine Arts (BFA) in Applied Art. My practice combines photography, digitalart, conceptual art, and mixed media to explore themes of identity, philosophy,psychology, and the relationship between humanity and nature. Through myparticipation in BIEAF 2026: “From Sun To Boy,” I hope to share a work thatencourages reflection, dialogue, and emotional connection across cultures.

Description of the work : This work is inspired by the idea that, despite our differences, we are all one.At the center of the composition, human figures come together to form asymbol of peace. Their bodies are intertwined and dependent on one another,creating a single united structure rather than separate individuals.The image speaks about solidarity, empathy, and the quiet strength thatemerges when people support one another. Each figure carries part of theweight, suggesting that peace is not only a symbol, but also a sharedresponsibility. It is created through connection, trust, and the willingness tostand together. The circular form surrounding the figures represents wholeness, continuity,and the shared world we inhabit. The phrase “We all are one” reinforces thecentral message of the work: humanity is interconnected, and peace becomespossible when we recognize ourselves in one another.

Rrezeart Galica was born on September 25, 1981 in Pristina. During the years2000-2005 he studied at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Pristina,Department of Graphic Design, while in 2006-2008 he completed his thirddegree, where he obtained a master's degree in this Faculty, Department ofGraphic Design, Department of Multimedia. In October 2013, he started hisdoctoral studies at the Academy for Albanological Studies in Tirana and inFebruary 2020 he received his doctorate at the Academy for AlbanologicalStudies in Tirana, Albania. The ongoing publications are related to the projects and researches hedevelops for Albanian art in Albania and Kosovo. Description of the work : The horse, a universal symbol of strength, freedom, and movement, isconstructed entirely from the structural forms of the Hangul alphabet. Ratherthan functioning as readable text, the characters become visual buildingblocks, transforming language into form and identity into image. The horse'sflowing mane gradually evolves into Dancheong-inspired ornamentalpatterns, representing the richness of Korean cultural heritage and itscontinuous evolution. Traditional Korean decorative motifs are integratedthroughout the body of the horse, creating a layered visual texture thatconnects typography, ornament, and symbolism. The composition reflects thedynamic energy of the horse while suggesting the transmission of culturebeyond geographical boundaries. The open composition and expansivenegative space evoke the vast Mongolian steppe, a historic landscape ofmovement, exchange, and intercultural encounters. A subtle horizontal axissymbolizes the connection between Korea and Mongolia, emphasizingdialogue, cooperation, and shared cultural journeys. By merging Hangul,traditional Korean aesthetics, and the symbolism of the horse into a singlevisual form, the poster expresses how cultural identity can move beyondlanguage, becoming a universal medium for communication, creativity, andmutual understanding.
