It is a profound honor to announce the 23rd Busan International Environment Art Festival,BIEAF2026. This year, we gather under the theme, "From Sun To Boy." The Sun representsthe genesis of the universe and the dawn of all creation. The Boy symbolizes the "ArtisticHuman"—a spirit in pursuit of expressing the very essence of nature.
In our official poster, the Sun is personified as a creative feminine archetype that enrichesthe world, while the Boy represents the artist, stepping into a new realm of creativity as hereceives light from the Sun Goddess.

BIEAF is, in itself, a monumental masterpiece collectively crafted by artists. Our mission liesin empowering and celebrating artistic endeavors where the artist remains the centralprotagonist. Art has the power to transcend borders, cultures, and languages while inspiring dialogue and raising awareness about the environmental challenges of our time. Through BIEAF 2026, we come together as an international creative community to share ideas, visions, and artistic responses for a more sustainable future.

Instead, it unfolds a grand narrative of creation—one where the primordial light of the cosmos encounters life, and art awakens the human soul. The Sun represents the eternal source of energy that sustains all living beings, serving as the ultimate genesis of art.
