Tell us about BIEAF2026 'From Sun To Boy' :

"For me, the theme "From Sun to Boy" is not merely a metaphor for heritage, but a profound reflection on the responsibility of the creator. The "Sun"represents the raw, primal source of inspiration and the absolute truth ofexistence, while the "Boy"—the free creator—is the prism through which thislight is refracted, structured, and given meaning.

My artistic journey, shaped by both the intensity of the business world and thecontemplative depth of abstract painting, has taught me that true freedom isnot the absence of boundaries, but the discipline to channel pure energy intoa coherent vision. In my work, I aim to be the conduit that bridges the gapbetween the universal warmth of the Sun and the restless curiosity of the Boy.I do not simply paint; I architect emotions. By passing this hopeful energy ontothe canvas, I invite the viewer—the "Boy" within us all—to perceive art as arigorous yet liberated search for peace. Ultimately, my contribution to thistheme is a testament to the belief that even after the most challenging lifetransitions, the light of creation remains our most resilient and enduringlegacy."

My daughter, blue face mask, young and tender leaves drift over the street

oil on canvas  125 x 105 cm  2026

"In this piece from the A.C.I.D series, the vibrant, glowing orb—reminiscent ofa setting or rising sun—serves as the primary source of life and emotionalgravity. For me, this "Sun" embodies the protective, radiant energy that we, asparents and creators, strive to pass on to the next generation. The centralfigure, emerging with innocence and fragility, represents the "Boy"—thefuture creator who must navigate the complexities of a changing world. The tension between the deep, dark voids and the luminescent foregroundreflects the passage of love and hope from the source to the seeker. Bylayering oil and acrylic, I aimed to capture the organic, evolving nature ofhuman existence, where the "Sun" of our past experiences warms the "Boy" ofour future. This work is an act of trust, a testament to the belief that evenamidst the drift of fleeting time, the light of creation remains our mostprofound legacy, guiding the youth toward a future defined by peace andartistic freedom."

738 Phuc Thi Tran(Vietnam Hanoi)2.jpg

Description of the work : The artwork "Huyết Mạch" (Bloodline/Artery) serves as a poignant, atmospheric reflection on the pulse of urban life in contemporary Vietnam. Atits core, the piece captures a quintessential scene of the city: a long, wearyqueue of people waiting at a gas station. By focusing on this specific settingrather than a generic street scene, the artist transforms a mundane, oftenfrustrating daily errand into a meaningful cultural commentary on the"bloodline" of city mobility. The composition is particularly notable for its rejection of traditional Westernlinear perspective in favor of the "Không gian Tẩu mã" (moving perspective)technique. This choice is instrumental in establishing the work’s rhythm; itallows the artist to arrange multiple layers of figures and motorcycles acrossthe canvas in a way that feels fluid and interconnected. Rather than presentinga static, frozen moment, the use of this perspective creates a sense ofcontinuous motion, mirroring the restless energy of the urban environment. The title, "Huyết Mạch," thus gains a deeper layer of meaning—it suggeststhat the collective movement of these individuals, fueled by the energy theyare waiting to acquire, is indeed the lifeblood that keeps the city functioning. The artist’s technical approach further enhances this narrative. The colorpalette, dominated by subdued, earthy, and grayscale tones, grounds the workin a sense of reality, while the firm, deliberate brushstrokes capture theweariness and patience of the crowd. The rhythmic repetition of the humanforms and the mechanical shapes of the motorcycles establishes a visualcadence that feels both orderly and overwhelming. It is a scene that feelsintensely familiar to anyone living in an urban center, capturing the quietendurance of daily life. Furthermore, the work acts as a documentary-style record of socioeconomicmoments. Much like the artist's other works depicting historical events—suchas the queues for gasoline during the Middle East energy crisis—"HuyếtMạch" elevates a collective social experience to the realm of high art. It avoidsthe pitfalls of realistic depiction to focus instead on the spatial compositionand the psychological weight of the scene. By stripping away unnecessarydetails and focusing on the essence of the queue, the artist invites the viewerto look beyond the immediate frustration of waiting and instead contemplatethe larger, often invisible systems that dictate our daily movements. In conclusion, "Huyết Mạch" is a sophisticated exploration of space, time, andhuman behavior within the urban landscape. Through the masterly applicationof the "Không gian Tẩu mã" technique and a keen eye for social reality, theartist has created a work that is simultaneously a specific snapshot of amoment and a universal meditation on the mechanisms of modern life. Itserves as a testament to the artist’s ability to find profound artisticsignificance in the most routine aspects of human existence, turning the"bloodline" of traffic into a compelling, rhythmic, and deeply human visualexperience.

For me, “From Sun To Boy” speaks about how the energy and decisions of ourtime radiate directly into the lives of children. It reminds us that everyenvironmental action we take today becomes light or shadow in the world thatthe next generation will inhabit.

Silent Fur Sphere – Forgotten Remnant of Nature

Mezzotint print on paper (intaglio printmaking)

30x40 cm  2025

Description of the work :

This mezzotint print presents a “silent fur sphere” that refuses to reveal a clearbody or species. The image suggests an animal presence reduced to texture, like a trace left behind when living beings disappear from our landscapes. Thesoft halo of light recalls the warmth of the sun, while the surrounding darknessevokes habitats pushed into the shadows by human expansion. Rather thandepicting a specific creature, the work reflects on how many animals becomeanonymous remnants in the age of climate crisis, urban growth andconsumption. It invites us to listen to the quiet, almost invisible bodies thatshare the planet with future children, and to question what kind of ecologicalmemory we are passing from the sun to the next generation.

Description of the work : This work portrays an anonymous figure—someone who could be anyone. Theface carries no specific identity, allowing the viewer to recognize fragments ofthemselves or others within it. It is a portrait marked by time, memory, andsilent endurance. The expressive contrasts of light and shadow reveal a life shaped byexperience, where suffering and resilience coexist. The rough textures andlayered gestures evoke emotional scars, while the red band across the eyessuggests hidden wounds, blurred memories, or the weight of untold stories. Rather than depicting one individual, the painting becomes a reflection of theshared human condition: a face with a history, marked by pain, strength, andthe quiet dignity of having endured.

DESIRE

ACRYLIC ON CANVAS  30" X 30"  2024

Description of the work : Life is a journey from womb to tomb. During this journey Man is in constantsearch of the Infinite with his finite possibilities. The material aspects of lifelikedesire, ambition, yearning for name and fame pull him constantly down to theearth. Yet the Search continues. Search for what? …It is the Search for what can at least partly be attained, being detached fromall thematerial aspects. That is why human being figures in most of my paintings. Onone hand man tries to maintain his existence by sticking to material aspects oflife. On the other hand he ignores his mere physical existence only to attainsomethingbeyond his material longings. He tries to tear asunder the hard realities of life.Hebegins to dream --- the kind of Dream that tries to touch the Infinite. Thecolour ofman’s Dream is blue. Dream tries to get to the Sky, which is Infinite, Vast andimmense. That which is infinite and immense expresses itself in blue. So thecolour Blue and the Infinite get merged into one cosmic hue --- that is Blue. The Moon in some of my paintings is suggestive of the personification ofDream,Hope etc. And the triangular shape expresses the Heart’s ascension. Hereinlies theco-existence Dream and heart Reality of life, simply because human heart istheaccouchement of Dream, but Dream feels drawn towards the Infinite againsttheHeart’s gravitation.

PRAMOD KUMAR
INDIA

PRAMOD NEELAKANDAN Born in 1976 in Kozhencherry, a village in southern Kerala, PramodNeelakandan’s artistic practice has evolved through a continuous dialoguebetween tradition and contemporaneity. After completing his formaleducation, he moved to Delhi, where his early professional experience in aninterior design studio—primarily creating large-scale wall murals—sharpenedhis sensitivity to space, surface, and scale. Despite technical mastery, Pramod soon recognised the limitations of purelycommissioned work, sensing an absence of emotional authenticity. Thisrealisation led him towards a deeper engagement with artistic language, prompting him to study Kerala Traditional Mural Painting. While grounded inthe discipline and visual grammar of this classical form, his practice graduallymoved away from its mythological framework toward themes rooted inpresent-day human experience. Pramod’s work occupies a space between the figurative and thepsychological. Through the deliberate use of intense, often confrontationalcolour and the synthesis of human forms with elements of nature, hispaintings evoke inner states rather than literal narratives. The figures thatemerge on his canvas resist stillness; they function as sites of tension, reflection, and transformation. His participation in the India Art Fair (2022) marked a significant moment in hisevolving practice. Central to Pramod’s artistic philosophy is the belief that apainting must extend beyond visual representation—it must activate thought, memory, and emotional resonance within the viewer. This convictioncontinues to drive constant shifts in his stylistic and conceptual approach.Currently working in a modern figurative idiom, Pramod Neelakandan’spaintings are distinguished by their proportional yet dynamic colourrelationships and thematic openness. From his studio in Kerala, he continuesto develop new bodies of work, positioning painting not as a static object, butas an ongoing inquiry into human presence, perception, and contemporaryrelevance.

Description of the work : Mother Tigress is a celebration of maternal love, protection, and the quietstrength that sustains life in the wilderness. At the heart of the painting, thetigress gently embraces her playful cub while an older sibling watches overthem, creating a tender moment of family and belonging amid the denseforest. The surrounding jungle is alive with hidden creatures, lush foliage, andblooming flowers, suggesting that every living being shares an invisible bondwithin nature. The deer, elephants, and birds appear not as predators andprey, but as silent witnesses to the sacred rhythm of life. In this imaginedworld, coexistence replaces conflict, and compassion becomes the true law ofthe forest. Rendered in my Mystical Folk style, the painting draws inspiration from Indianfolk traditions while reimagining the forest as a symbolic realm where everyleaf, animal, and color carries emotional meaning. Mother Tigress is ultimatelya tribute to motherhood—the universal force that nurtures, protects, andgives courage to face the unknown, reminding us that love is nature's greateststrength.

Sree Buddha

Canvas  85*65cm  2024

Description of the work : This Buddha painting is a beautiful representation of peace, wisdom, andspiritual awakening. The artwork focuses on the face of Buddha with closedeyes, expressing a deep sense of meditation, inner calm, and self-realization.Rather than showing detailed surroundings, the artist emphasizes the facialfeatures to draw the viewer's attention to the peaceful expression. Thepainting encourages us to pause, reflect, and find tranquility within ourselves. The most striking feature of the painting is Buddha's closed eyes. Theysymbolize meditation and the search for inner truth instead of externalpleasures. The gentle smile on the lips represents compassion, kindness, andcontentment. It suggests that true happiness comes from inner peace ratherthan material possessions. The elongated nose and simplified facial featuresgive the painting a modern yet spiritual appearance, making it both artisticand meaningful. The artist has used warm shades of golden yellow, brown, black, and white. The golden color symbolizes enlightenment, purity, and divine wisdom. Brownand black create depth and contrast, highlighting the facial contours andadding a sense of mystery and calm. The smooth blending of colors creates asoft, soothing effect that enhances the meditative mood of the painting. Thelimited color palette avoids distraction and helps the viewer focus on theemotions expressed through the face. The composition of the artwork is simple but powerful. The face occupiesalmost the entire canvas, making it the central point of attention. Thesymmetrical arrangement of the eyes, nose, and lips creates balance andharmony. The dark background further emphasizes the illuminated face, symbolizing the journey from ignorance to enlightenment. The absence ofunnecessary details reflects the Buddhist principle of simplicity anddetachment from worldly desires. The painting also carries deep spiritual symbolism. Buddha is regarded as asymbol of wisdom, compassion, non-violence, and mindfulness. The closedeyes remind us to look within ourselves for answers. The peaceful expressionteaches patience, forgiveness, and emotional balance. It inspires viewers topractice meditation, self-control, and positive thinking in their daily lives. Theartwork serves not only as a decorative piece but also as a reminder of thevalues that lead to a meaningful and peaceful life. From an artistic perspective, the painting demonstrates excellent use of form, shading, and color harmony. The bold outlines define the facial featuresclearly, while the gradual color transitions create volume and softness. Theartist successfully combines realism with abstraction, allowing the painting toconvey emotion without excessive detail. This modern interpretation ofBuddha appeals to both traditional art lovers and contemporary audiences.Overall, this Buddha painting is a remarkable work of art that combinessimplicity, spirituality, and aesthetic beauty. Its peaceful expression, balancedcomposition, and warm color scheme create a calming atmosphere for theviewer. More than just a portrait, it conveys the timeless message of innerpeace, compassion, and enlightenment. The artwork inspires people to slowdown, reflect on their lives, and seek happiness through mindfulness andwisdom, making it both visually appealing and spiritually uplifting.

Photography, Print on Archival quality  A3  2026

My City, My Love A city is more than a collection of buildings, roads, and monuments—it is aliving canvas of memories, culture, and emotions. For me, Udaipur is not justmy hometown; it is my greatest inspiration. Every street, every lake, and everyhistoric structure tells a story that connects the past with the present. This photograph captures one of the most beautiful faces of my city. The calmwater reflects the changing colours of the sky, while the historic bridgegracefully connects two shores, symbolising the bond between Udaipur's richheritage and its vibrant modern life. The birds soaring above remind us thattrue freedom is found where nature and humanity exist in harmony. Known as the City of Lakes, Udaipur is blessed with timeless beauty. Theshimmering waters, majestic palaces, ancient temples, and lush greensurroundings create a landscape that inspires artists, photographers, writers, and dreamers from around the world. Every sunrise paints the city in goldenhues, and every sunset leaves behind a sense of peace that is difficult todescribe in words. As an artist, I find endless inspiration in Udaipur. Its architecture, colours, festivals, traditions, and the warmth of its people constantly influence mycreative journey. Every corner offers a new perspective, every reflection on thelake becomes a painting, and every season adds another layer to the city'sartistic soul. Beyond its visual beauty, Udaipur teaches us the importance of preservingheritage while embracing progress. It reminds us that culture is not only foundin monuments but also in everyday life—in conversations, celebrations, music, craftsmanship, and the simple act of living together with respect for nature. This image is more than a landscape; it is a reflection of my love for my city. Itrepresents peace, history, resilience, and hope. Whenever I look at this view, Ifeel deeply connected to my roots and inspired to contribute to the culturalidentity of Udaipur through art and creativity. My city is my inspiration, my heritage, and my home. Udaipur is not just aplace on the map—it is a feeling that lives in my heart. Wherever life takes me,the beauty of these lakes, bridges, temples, and skies will always remind me ofwhere I belong. This is my city, my love.

Description of the work : Contrast portrays a highland farmer diligently working on the terraced ricefields of Mu Cang Chai during the water-pouring season. Bathed in the glow ofsunset, the mountainous landscape unfolds in breathtaking splendor, illuminated by radiant shades of gold and orange that stretch across thehorizon. These warm colors shimmer on the water-filled terraces, creating amesmerizing interplay of light and shadow. As daylight fades, the skygradually transforms into a dreamy purple, before nightfall gently envelopsthe land, leaving the entire scene immersed in a captivating symphony ofgold, orange, and violet. Against this vast and majestic backdrop, the farmer appears small in scale yetprofound in presence. The striking contrast between the individual and theimmensity of nature highlights the resilience, determination, andextraordinary strength of the human spirit. It is a celebration of humanity’senduring connection with the land and its remarkable ability to perseverewithin the boundless grandeur of the universe.

Attraction Of Beauty

Mix Media on Canvas  36 x 48 Inches  2026

Description of the work : This painting explores the subtle and complex relationship between themasculine and feminine, presenting two abstracted human figures assymbolic manifestations of emotional, psychological, and spiritualconsciousness. Rather than portraying realistic individuals, the figuresfunction as universal archetypes, inviting viewers to reflect on the invisibledynamics of human connection, inner dialogue, and shared existence. The female figure occupies the upper portion of the composition with a calm, contemplative expression. Her elongated face, simplified features, andrestrained gaze convey serenity, introspection, and emotional maturity. Incontrast, the male figure is positioned below in a reclining posture, his angularface and upward gaze suggesting reflection, vulnerability, and a search foremotional understanding. Their contrasting positions establish a visualconversation that transcends physical interaction, expressing a silent bondfounded on trust, empathy, and mutual awareness. Geometry serves as the structural foundation of the composition. Thefragmented triangular forms distributed across the figures and backgroundsymbolize the fragmented yet interconnected nature of human experiences. These geometric elements represent thoughts, memories, emotions, and themultiple dimensions of consciousness that shape individual identity. Ratherthan functioning as decorative motifs, the triangles create a visual rhythm thatunifies the composition while suggesting transformation, balance, and thecontinual process of self-realisation. The colour palette is deliberately restrained, dominated by cool blues, greys, muted greens, and deep black. Blue evokes introspection, spiritual depth, andemotional calm, while green suggests renewal, growth, and the vitality of life. The subtle tonal transitions and layered textures enrich the surface, creatingan atmosphere of silence and contemplation. The dark background contrastswith the luminous figures, emphasizing the emergence of inner consciousnessfrom uncertainty and the journey from darkness toward self-awareness.The textured surfaces further reinforce the conceptual narrative by preservingtraces of process, memory, and lived experience. Layers of paint overlap likeaccumulated emotions, suggesting that human identity is continuouslyshaped through personal encounters, relationships, and time. The composition deliberately avoids literal storytelling, allowing symbolic formsand spatial relationships to communicate emotional meaning beyond words.Inspired by the symbolic simplicity of prehistoric Indian cave paintings, sacredgeometry, and contemporary figurative abstraction, this work reinterpretstraditional visual philosophies through a modern artistic language. Thesimplified figures echo the timeless human impulse to communicateemotional and spiritual realities using essential forms rather than descriptiverealism. This synthesis of tradition and abstraction positions the work withincontemporary Indian art while maintaining a universal visual vocabulary.Ultimately, this painting is an exploration of human consciousness and thedelicate balance between individuality and companionship. It proposes thatrelationships are not merely physical encounters but spaces of emotionalresonance, mutual transformation, and spiritual growth. Through theharmonious integration of figurative abstraction, geometry, colour, andtexture, the work invites viewers to pause, contemplate, and discover theirown reflections within the silent dialogue between the two figures.

Raphael Rodríguez III has consolidated a career within Puerto Ricancontemporary art through paintings, illustration and graphic arts, integratingthese as the main elements of his work. His practice responds to a vital socialneed: to provoke a direct aproach between the work and the viewer, appealingto conscience and a social reaction that, although sometimes crude, still veryreal. These are resignified in visual contexts that force the public to establishintellectual links with his art.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Rodríguez III studied Illustration and Caricature atThe Pratt Institute in New York and took classes in Photographic Art at theSchool of Fine Arts in Ponce, thus expanding his critical and conceptual vision.

His artistic proposal has served as a critical response to discriminatory andaesthetically normative social attitudes. Through social criticism, Rodríguez IIIconfronts the behaviors imposed by the mainstream, proposing instead avision that, although sometimes crude, is real a profoundly human.

Ad Universum

Acrylic on texturized canvas   32x40   2026

Description of the work : Ad Universum is a visual allegory of human resilience, growth, and the cyclicalnature of existence. The painting explores the delicate balance between theexternal hardships of the world and the internal sanctuary of focus anddestiny. Through a surrealist blend of organic life and industrial decay, theartwork captures a profound transition -- a journey through a chaotic universetoward a self-determined future. -The Bees and the Hive / The Catalyst of Life:Serving as the heartbeat of the composition, the bees and their hivesymbolize life in its purest form. Through the vital act of pollination, theyrepresent a fresh start, teeming with untouched dreams, fertility, and newopportunities. -The Rebar and Decay / The Inevitable Trial:Juxtaposed against the vitality of nature, exposed rebar and elements ofstructural decay represent the inevitable hardships, systemic obstacles, anderosion that one encounters throughout life's journey. -The Flora and Vegetation / The Rebirth:Working in tandem with the pollination motif, the blooming vegetationsignifies a personal renaissance. It is a visual testament to thriving amidstruins, marking a new season of spiritual and emotional growth. -The Shell / Sanctuary & Safeguard:A quiet, intentional presence in the piece, the shell serves as an emblem ofprotection. It underscores the profound, inherent human need to shield, nurture, and safeguard the innocence of the child. -The Staircase / Duality of Motion:Acts as a structural metaphor for human agency and fate. It represents theconstant flux of progression and regression - the perpetual choice andcircumstance of rising, falling, advancing, or stepping back in life. -The Central Figure / The Grounded Sovereign:At the core of the piece is child figure lost in intense, contemplative focus.Locked onto a single sphere, embodying a deeply grounded, balanced being.Though surrounded by a multitude of distracting spheres, remaining entirelyundisturbed, utterly anchored to the future.

surviving in reds

acrylic on canvas  2x2.5 fts  2026

Description of the work : Surviving in reds

watchThis painting is based on Oont Kadal Oont Bridge Kashmir, reimagined as apsychological landscape rather than a literal depiction. The scene isdramatized through influences of Romanticism and Surrealism, whereheightened atmosphere, turbulent skies, and distorted space expressemotional intensity and inner unrest. The water below acts as memoryfragmented and unstable while automatist gestures allow the work to evolveintuitively, mirroring lived uncertainty. The central symbol, a handicappedwatch hanging without hands, represents time that has not moved fairly for usa time that pauses, repeats, or wounds instead of progressing. In the contextof Kashmir, time becomes broken and unreliable, reflecting interruptedfutures and unresolved histories. Handicapped Watch is not an illustration of aplace, but a meditation on how landscapes absorb memory and how timebehaves in regions shaped by prolonged conflict and waiting.

다보탑의 꿈(Dream of Dabotap) - Installation

MDF, EL-Wire,Led,Acylic  98X40X230mm  2025

Description of the work : Surviving in reds

For centuries, Dabotap has stood as an enduring symbol of hope andenlightenment. In this work, the iconic pagoda is reimagined as acontemporary installation that embodies the dreams and lives of modernhumanity. Each level represents a small room containing different memories, hopes, wounds, and moments of healing. The light radiating from within symbolizesthe flame of life that never fades, even in the midst of despair. The pagoda is more than a structure built upward; it represents the journey ofa person's growth and spiritual maturation. A small hope that begins at thelowest level illuminates the next, rising ever higher until it becomes a warmbeacon of light for everyone.Through light, this work speaks of comfort, courage, and humanity's enduringhope for a blessed future.

Description of the work : Surviving in reds

My emotions are currently in chaos. So many emotions at the same time, alldominated by uncertainty and the fear of the unknown. On this Women’s Day,my emotions are different, my wishes are different. Despite all the chaos in theregion, I try to hold on to faith that tomorrow will be better, and not lose thisbelief. The woman in this painting carries a lot of chaos within her : conflicts, instability, fears, and deep emotions; yet she still believes in hope, believingthat everything will eventually be fine.My wish for this Women’s Day, March 2026: a safe and peaceful Women’s Dayfor all women, and for every individual, in every corner of the world and everyland.

The Invisible Presence

Acrylic on Canvas  100 x 80 cm.  2025

Description of the work : Surviving in reds

The painting feels like a quiet moment suspended in space. It uses definedcontours and flowing fields of color to suggest a figure that remains almostintangible. The figure is not the central focus; instead, it seems to becomposed of light and movement. Only subtle hints of shoulders, a head, andposture emerge, as if the person has just appeared or is already beginning tofade away. The muted color palette lends the work an ethereal quality withoutmaking it feel cold. The composition carries a quiet tension. The backgroundremains open and expansive, almost like a space that tells more of the storythan the figure itself. The artwork explores perception and presence. Onesenses someone who is barely visible, yet unmistakably shapes theatmosphere. That is precisely where the painting's strength lies. It does notreveal—it merely suggests.

Hoorse

Poster Design   70x100 cm   2026

Description of the work : The horse, a universal symbol of strength, freedom, and movement, isconstructed entirely from the structural forms of the Hangul alphabet. Ratherthan functioning as readable text, the characters become visual buildingblocks, transforming language into form and identity into image. The horse'sflowing mane gradually evolves into Dancheong-inspired ornamentalpatterns, representing the richness of Korean cultural heritage and itscontinuous evolution. Traditional Korean decorative motifs are integratedthroughout the body of the horse, creating a layered visual texture thatconnects typography, ornament, and symbolism. The composition reflects thedynamic energy of the horse while suggesting the transmission of culturebeyond geographical boundaries. The open composition and expansivenegative space evoke the vast Mongolian steppe, a historic landscape ofmovement, exchange, and intercultural encounters. A subtle horizontal axissymbolizes the connection between Korea and Mongolia, emphasizingdialogue, cooperation, and shared cultural journeys. By merging Hangul, traditional Korean aesthetics, and the symbolism of the horse into a singlevisual form, the poster expresses how cultural identity can move beyondlanguage, becoming a universal medium for communication, creativity, andmutual understanding.

The central theme of this body of work is emptiness (空). Emptiness is a statethat encompasses everything yet contains nothing. This concept is visualizedthrough the form of the circle. The circle is a perfect form and, at the sametime, an imperfect entity that holds infinite possibilities. Beginning at a singlepoint and returning to its origin, the circle achieves balance through itsseamless curves; it possesses meaning in itself while simultaneously leavingthe door open to endless interpretations within the composition.

These jagged, mountain-like formations evokethe immense power of the sun—the ultimate source of energy, warmth, andlife. However, these vibrant peaks are enveloped by a heavy, mutedbackground of pale greys and earthy beige. This atmospheric choiceintroduces a subtle tension, hinting at a global environmental dialogueburdened by rising temperatures, greenhouse gases, and a changing climate. The Human Mirror (The Boy) Below a stark, dark horizon line, the artwork transitions into a cooler, fluidlandscape of water. Here, the fiery world above is reflected, but the image isfractured and distorted. This acts as a powerful metaphor for humanity'srelationship with nature: • The Interconnected Bleed: The bleeding of the orange into deep blacks andmurky greens within the water shows that our actions on land inevitablyimpact our life-sustaining waters. • The Void of Innocence: At the center of this reflection lies a bright, unblemished white patch. This negative space can represent the "Boy"—asymbol of human innocence, vulnerability, and the future generations whoinherit the choices we make today. A Planetary Balance Ultimately, it captures a threshold. The sharp contrast between the scorchingheat of the upper half and the vulnerable, reflective quality of the lower halfillustrates the tipping point of our global climate dialogue. It reminds theviewer that humanity is not separate from nature, but a direct reflection ofhow we treat the earth.

The Seed of Light

Mixed media on canvas  135 × 90 cm  2026

Description of the work : Surviving in reds

is a magical-realism painting that embodies the BIEAF theme by visuallyconnecting the 'Sun' to the 'Boy'. It portrays a kneeling girl (representinginnocent 'Boy'hood/humanity) embracing a rabbit. An ethereal rainbowbridges the earthly scene to a cosmic sky where the sun shines, doves fly, andheart-shaped clouds float, symbolizing a universe built on love, purity, andecological harmony—a sustainable future restored to its primal innocence
