My name is Jenny Carola Dussan Charry, born in Neiva – Huila Colombia, on September 30, 1978 by profession as a Financial Administrator, having a passion for art, sculpture, painting, from a very young age, more than 11 years ago I learned art in paraffin where I have been teaching this beautiful art and making it known, first in my country and then participating in different national and international fairs, participating in interviews on television and giving a small sample of how art is made in paraffin, giving seminars in my country and international. Also having the opportunity to participate in different international exhibitions, being chosen among many Colombian artists to celebrate Picasso's 50th Anniversary in Malaga Spain, with the paraffin work titled Man in the Current World. Then I was present with 10 works in the city of Cartago Valle (Colombia) at the Expo Latina de Arte Colombia V EDITION 2023 contemporary exhibition, with many national and international artists. Now I have the opportunity to be chosen to participate in the 5th Biennale of Contemporary Art of Salerno Italy, 5 works were sent so that the curators could choose which one to participate with in Italy; They selected the work that I participated in Malaga Spain, where it will be exhibited in the Historical Palace of Salerno Italy. We have brought art in paraffin by being present at the great international master exhibition with the Universal Brush Society; also making a presence at the Universal Brush Both Worlds. I took part with my art in paraffin and being the first Colombian to be in the Call “The Future” competition and exhibition organized by the Janaritta Armooti gallery in association with the embassy of India-Amman; obtaining the first prize gold medal and best Colombian artist with my paraffin art. This year I managed to participate in the BIAF, the Busan South Korea international art festival. Also participate in the exhibition Bridging Borders with Master of Art in Brazil. I was on display at Casa Museo Grau with the paraffin work La Reina Hindu. In the capital of my country Bogotá- Colombia. Exhibition in Costa Rica “Awakening Consciousness” from April 22-26, as part of the Bhopal India International Exhibition, Online (Earth Day special) from April 20 to 21/2024

변화하는 자연의 모습 - 계절마다 피는 꽃의 이미지를 집적(集積)된 시간의 의미와 중첩(重疊)된 공간성으로 표현하기 위해 계절마다 피는 꽃(시간)을 화병에 담아 촬 영하고 그 이미지를 photoshop의 레이어 겹치기를 활용하여 꽃을 투명하게 서로서로 비쳐서 보이는 이미지(공간)로 표현하였다. 『사람이라는 존재의 근원과 관련된 잃어버린 기억과의 결부이다.』 언제부터인지 사람들은 자연으로부터 사람을 분리하고 살아왔다. 그리고 그 분리에서 생겨난 현대인들의 고독과 외로움은 다시 자연으로 돌아가야만 치유가 된다. 힘겨운 나의 인물화 작업에서 벗어나 약간의 휴식과도 같은 꽃 그림은 자연과의 마주함으로 느껴지는 편안함에서 비롯된 것이 아닐까? 변하는 계절 속에 피는 꽃은 기쁨, 슬픔, 그리움 등으로 사람의 마음을 움직인다. 작업의 재료는 한지(Korean paper)중에 2합 장지를 사용하고 수용성 아크릴 과슈 (Gouache) 물감으로 painting한다. 과슈물감의 원료는 아라비아 고무로 만들어져 계절마다 수축이 심한 한지에 가장적합한 물감이다.

I have held seven solo exhibitions and participated in over 70 curated group exhibitions both in Korea and abroad. Currently, I am teaching at Kyung Hee University and Jeonbuk National University.

I visually capture fragments of sensation lost in an unfamiliar world. The fish swimming through the dense jungle of opaque time and emotion in this world represent shards of memory and feeling, or pieces of identity. Their presence—fish navigating not through water but through a "strange forest"—suggests the anxiety and rhythm of survival experienced by beings living in an illogical and dissonant environment. I call this sense of dislocation the "sensation of the outsider," and I have depicted the world it constructs. The fish in my work embody the way foreign emotions drift within me; they are a visualization of the fluidity of perception—confusing yet beautiful. Ultimately, they represent the persistence of vitality even within unfamiliar surroundings, and the traces of psychological resistance and acceptance as one seeks balance within that space.

Jia Yundi : Female, born in Beijing. 1994–1998: Studied at the High School Affiliated to the Central Academy of Fine Arts. - 1998–2002: Studied at the Department of Chinese Painting, Central Academy of Fine Arts (Bachelor’s degree). - 2002–2005: Studied at the School of Chinese Painting, Central Academy of Fine Arts (Master’s degree). - 2005–2010: Studied at the Institute of Plastic Arts, Central Academy of Fine Arts (Doctoral degree). Currently, she is an Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Graduate School of the Chinese National Academy of Arts, a Member of the Art Working Committee of the Youth Federation of the Ministry of Culture, and a Research Fellow at the Li Keran Academy of Painting. She also serves as a Member of the Art Committee of the Contemporary Ink Painting Research Institute at the Xi’an Academy of Chinese Painting.

As a symbol of both physical and psychological boundaries, the door separates the inner from the outer world, while also metaphorizing the modern mind’s closure and voyeuristic desire. The shadow on the stairs and the figure standing inside the door seem to engage in a silent dialogue— curious about each other’s worlds, yet unable to truly reach one another due to an invisible barrier. This precisely mirrors the contradiction of contemporary people in social interactions: craving connection while fearing vulnerability. Though the "door" isolates, it also offers an opportunity to gaze upon oneself and others. When people confront this alienation and acknowledge the universality of loneliness, they may, with a more inclusive gaze, melt the icy walls of their hearts. The shadows inside and outside the door complete a spiritual dialogue through their mutual gaze, implying that in the face of loneliness, reconciliation begins with the awareness of shared humanity: we all stand on this side and the other side of the door, searching for the light of understanding.

Lecturer at Haikou University of Economics, Master's degree holder, member of Hainan Artists Association, and member of Hainan Contemporary Art Committee. In 2022, Jiang Qingying won a national award, and her work "Changyou" won first prize in a related competition. In 2023, won a bronze award at the International Ocean Arts Festival (IOAF 2023), which aims to promote global cultural and artistic exchange and integration. Received the Excellence Award in Hong Kong Youth Contemporary Art. In 2024, won a bronze award at the Singapore Art and Design Competition (SGADC 2024). In addition, at the 8th EPACC Environmental Art Creation Competition, Jiang Qingying's works were "Autumn Rhyme" and "Ocean Resonance", and she won the Excellence Award and Silver Award respectively. At the 6th Hong Kong Emerging Contemporary Design Awards, her work "Flowers and Full Moon - Mid Autumn Festival Gift Box Packaging Design" won a bronze award, showcasing her unique creativity in the field of packaging design.

butterfly ink being slightly heavier and emphasizing the form. Using
meticulous brushwork techniques, the lines are delicate and smooth, outlining
the contours and veins of the petals. By using this technique, the colors of the
petals naturally transition, increasing realism and conveying a peaceful and

I’m a multidisciplinary artist from Hong Kong, now based in Toronto, Canada. Growing up in Hong Kong’s blend of Eastern and Western cultures shaped my artistic vision, allowing me to merge both worlds in my work. Primarily self-taught in painting, my transition into design was a natural extension of my passion for art. Mastering perspective in painting helped me excel as an interior designer, with notable projects including work for AT&T, General Electric in Hong Kong, and the Scarborough Board of Education in Canada. As a designer, I shape spaces, and as a painter, I capture moments—two roles that complement each other in how they convey ideas visually. Since retiring from full-time design, I’ve focused on watercolor and ink painting and am a member of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Ink Concept Association. My studio in Markham, ON, will open next year. Let me show you the world through my eyes.

My work is not about perfection—it’s about presence.My art is rooted in presence, energy, and emotional truth. I use the human body as both subject and surface—merging bodypaint, photography, and performance into visual works that breathe. For me, the body is not just a canvas—it’s a collaborator. A living being carrying stories, tension, strength, and sensitivity.I work fast, intuitively, often with limited time or light, guided by emotion more than perfection. The process is intimate, instinctual, and often deeply personal—between me and the person in front of me.This series is part of a larger vision called “ICONIC”: a collection of portraits that aim to capture presence rather than performance. I want to portray individuals who carry power in their energy—activists, artists, rebels, survivors—people like Lady Gaga, whose essence reaches beyond fashion or fame. Not icons in the commercial sense, but in the emotional one: unforgettable, unfiltered, and human.My background as a designer and art director shapes my aesthetic, but my real drive comes from something deeper—a resistance to numbness and a longing for truth. Lack of any academic background in art has helped to conserve originality intact without the influence of any conventional and established norms. Member of various organizations of visual arts in India and abroad including South Korea. Was the Tagore National Award winner at the 5th Annual Exhibition of paintings 2023, Ravindranath Tagore university for art and literature Bhopal India. Works are regularly showcased at various international art exhibitions including South Korea. My solo exhibition of paintings and installations is going on in Durbar Hall Art Gallery , Kochi , India, 7th to 15th July.

The influence of the darker side and the associated agony of the present environment and humanity are prominent in my works. Imbibing lamentation of the hapless, vacillation of the present and emptiness of the future. Images created using traditional and digital techniques. This project arose from reflections on the condition of the modern world and problems related to environmental pollution. It speaks to the relationships occurring in the space surrounding people and within themselves.

“El Centro Perdido – Arte en Crisis” es el eje temático de la edición 2025 de la BIEAF (Bienal Internacional de Expresiones Artísticas y Fronterizas), un encuentro que nace desde las grietas y los bordes: aquellos lugares donde el arte no solo se exhibe, sino que resiste.
Jorge Enrique Londoño Ramírez Artista Visual – Colombia Nacido en la vereda Pueblo Tapao, municipio de Montenegro, Quindío (Colombia), Jorge Enrique Londoño Ramírez es un artista visual cuya práctica se centra en la exploración de la ancestralidad, la memoria simbólica y las raíces culturales indígenas desde una perspectiva contemporánea. Su obra transita entre el neoexpresionismo y el arte conceptual, abordando el rostro como territorio de identidad, fragmentación y resistencia. Con más de una década de trayectoria, Londoño ha expuesto en espacios de relevancia nacional e internacional, entre ellos el Museo de Arte Moderno de China (Tunxi), la Taimeless Art Gallery en Taormina (Italia), y la Casa Museo Grau en Bogotá. Actualmente, representa a Latinoamérica como delegado oficial de la Bienal de Arte Contemporáneo de Salerno (Italia) y del proyecto internacional Timeless Immortal Art. Su trabajo ha sido fijado de manera permanente en el centro histórico de Condro (Italia) y en espacios culturales de Ciudad de Méri Italia. Desde Cartago Valle, donde reside, desarrolla procesos curatoriales, proyectos de arte con enfoque territorial, y propuestas expositivas que articulan el arte como herramienta de memoria y transformación social.

Rostros del silencio, voces del origen En esta exposición, el artista Londoño evoca una memoria que no habla con palabras, sino con formas, sombras y fragmentos de rostros que emergen de las profundidades del inconsciente colectivo. Cada obra es un espejo roto donde emerge el alma primitiva, susurrando verdades olvidadas. Aquí, el silencio no es vacío: es eco. Los rostros, lejos de ser retratos, son símbolos. Y la voz del origen vibra entre líneas, texturas y pigmentos que cruzan lo ancestral y lo contemporáneo. Esta exposición no es una respuesta, sino una pregunta abierta al espectador: ¿Desde qué silencio escuchas? ¿Desde qué origen miras?

Jorge Luis Hurtado Reyes (Culiacán, 1961) es un gestor cultural y artista plástico. Además, se ha dado a conocer como “Tilichito Ben Boruch”, nombre artístico con el que personifica en sus diferentes labores sociales a un payaso. Jorge Luis ha incursionado en área de las artes como escultor y pintor desde hace más de 20 años. En sus inicios empezó haciendo esculturas de papel mache, después incursionar en la pintura con la que ha sido reconocido en México y países como Brasil y Colombia. Ha realizado 10 exposiciones individuales y participado en varias muestras colectivas destacando su participación en el "Festival internacional de artes sin fronteras por la paz de Colombia", MiniArt de Brasil,"Trascenderes" y "Pinceladas Día Mundial del Arte"en Perú, “Colores por la paz” en Argentina, "Horizontes del Color" en Chile, "México lindo y querido","Textura, Color que fluye entre mis dedos"entre otras. Como gestor cultural Hurtado Reyes ha desarrollado una labor de carácter internacional. Fue miembro fundador de la Organización Mundial de Artistas Integrados - OMAI -, creado en el año 2012, presidente de MAI Movimiento Artístico Internacional México y hace parte del grupo cultural Arte sin fronteras por la paz organismos con los que ha apoyado la difusión del arte sinaloense internacionalmente.

The artwork depicts the Mediterranean Sea as a large blue carpet,embroidered or woven with data and visual representations of migrationroutes, shipwrecks, and deaths that have occurred in the attempt to cross intoEurope. The softness of the textile contrasts sharply with the harshness of itscontent.
José Luis Lozano uses this carpet as a metaphor for the attempt to “sweep thehumanitarian tragedy under the rug,” while transforming the ground—thesurface we walk on—into a space of memory and awareness.
PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Granada (2012). Full Professor in the Department of Painting at the University of Granada, he also currently holds the position of Secretary of the same department. Between 2017 and 2021 he was a professor in the Painting Area of the Art Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche. He has an outstanding career in research and teaching, having been the beneficiary of two predoctoral and postdoctoral research contracts of the Plan Propio de Investigación del Vicerrectorado de Investigación of the University of Granada (2008-2013). As a researcher he is part of the Research Group New Materials for Contemporary Art "HUM-611" of the SICA since 2007 and of the Research Group Media Archaeology and Artistic Practice of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche since 2017, contributing to various R+D+i and Transfer projects, of the Plan Propio of the University of Granada, of the Vice-Rectorate and Research of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, of the Valencian Community and of the Andalusian Government among others, all of them related to contemporary art and research in new technologies and new materials in artistic practice. He has made teaching and research stays in different Institutions and Art Centers at National and International level as the University College London (Bentham Project), the Faculty of Fine Arts UPV-EHU of the Basque Country, the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (Poland), in the Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp, in the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, in the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich (Germany), in the Instituto Superior de Arte ISA in Havana, Cuba, in the Faculty of Arts of the National University of Cordoba, Argentina, among others. I have been drawing since I was a child. I majored in humanities at university. During that time, I felt the desire to draw again. When I was in junior high school, I had a hard time with relationships. I started to teach myself to draw in order to heal those wounds, and to heal others as well.

On a cold winter day, I wanted to feel the sunlight, so I painted a picture of the sun. Images have a strong power. I hope that those who look at this painting will feel the energy of light. I also painted a sunflower with a similar image in my mind. I want people to feel the grace of the sunflower petals dancing in the air.

At the heart of this edition lies a profound urgency: to confront the environmental crises of our time and to give voice to artistic practices that question, reimagine, and illuminate humanity’s shifting relationship with the Earth.
Kaouther Kassou Jellazi was born in 1966 in Tunis. She holds a PhD in Art Sciences and Techniques and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Tunis. Since 2003, Kassou has taken part in numerous group exhibitions both in Tunisia and abroad, establishing her talent on the national and international art scenes. This period, rich in encounters and discoveries, laid a solid foundation for the evolution of her artistic journey. In 2004, she held her first solo exhibition, Of the Unpredictable and the Visible, at Artemis Gallery. In 2018, she delved into her inner world through Thread of Self, presented at Kalysté. That same year, Kassou was honored with the title of “Academic Knight” by Mondial Art Academia. In September 2020, Musk and Amber Gallery hosted her exhibition Of Soul, where the female figure—central to her work—shines with singularity and evocative power. In November 2022, she published her first novel, Told Silence, accompanied by a solo exhibition titled Along the Lines in her studio. In March 2023, Kassou was among the 300 international artists and gallery owners featured at World Art Dubai. She is also one of the Tunisian artists whose work is part of the permanent collection of the prestigious Artsafe Museum in Singapore, a testament to the universal and timeless dimension of her oeuvre. Kassou remains a prominent figure in the contemporary art scene, navigating between painting, writing, and the exploration of the many facets of femininity.

In this vibrant piece, five female figures intertwine within a dense, floral composition—like souls suspended between dream and reality. Their presence is both powerful and fragile, wrapped in a profusion of radiant colors —incandescent red, botanical green, deep blue—that merge in an almost organic harmony. Thread, delicately traced in 3D, outlines lace patterns on their dresses, evoking both protection and vulnerability. It is a tenuous link—sometimes nearly invisible—that binds, holds, supports… or threatens to break. This thread becomes a symbol of life’s uncertain balance, of feminine solidarity, and of an identity that may depend on a single gesture, a fleeting thought, a distant memory. The bodies are there—solid, grounded—yet traversed by the transparency of line, the lightness of foliage flowing from their hair, and the glow of light filtering through color. Flowers drift, fall, cling, or fade—like memories. “Hanging by a Thread” speaks to us of the fragile strength of womanhood, of a beauty in motion, suspended between blossoming and erosion, in a world where balance must be continuously reimagined.

Gardner’s Art Through the Ages book 60x42 Cm 2025
In all vertebrates, bone is the hidden part of the animal, which, in its natural state, is not visible except after its death. This concealment continues even with the burial of the body until its complete decay. A naked and direct encounter with the bone, as the most enduring organ left from a creature, although lacks the repulsion of a corpse, is still uncanny and terrifying. In this work, a remnant of an animal has been immortalized in a new form and this time its concealment has been rendered anew in the guise of an art history book. The relationship of the museum as a cemetery of artworks, the art history book as both an interpreter and a critic of what has happened to the artist, along with the skeletal form that aspires to immortality, invites the audience to contemplation and dialogue.
